As part of her 2016 solo exhibition at CAPC, Leonor Antunes was challenged to shed a new light on the space. The artist came to the conclusion that impacting the perceived scale of the area would foster a closer relation with the museum’s visitors. For that, she covered 1500 m2 of the Central nave with cork flooring and brass elements, combined with the suspended sculptures. The overall result was an impressive artistic work that besides blending in with the space, managed to create a cozier atmosphere and impose a more human scale.
